a poem;

Description:

“ Buildings rise” is a poem, a verbal narrative,  a reflection about myself, which I depicted in a set of words. Those words were then taken and are expressed through a visual narrative. This narrative is conveyed through a series of panels in the form of a singular column of a poem. Those panels are broken down according to the sequence of the words, which are further juxtaposed visually with the use of imagery, typography and of paper as a channel that connects the panels as a whole. "

Poem:

Buildings rise
corners built
in other words
red and white strips
yellow fences
traffic
signs
roadblocks
no intersection
no water
a desert
humidity
heat
no passion
words left
souls unaided
bandages around
no cure
no fences
but fear
alone
I form
a platform
million of hours
of days
I cant give
nor could be given
in other words
a metropolitan
with no lights
no shelter
no pavements
only signals
beats
rhythms
unrelated
no borders
not even a map
where do I belong?
elsewhere
everywhere
no results were found
an orphan
reminiscence
see also deserted;
myself
all of the above
